Sponsorship Sales Manager

Solution providers from around the world look for opportunities to network, exhibit, and pitch to their potential clients in the capacity of a Conference Sponsor. Our Sponsorship Sales team identifies, matches and sells sponsorship and exhibition packages to companies on the supply side of each event.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a thorough understanding of Wisdom products, the industry, and our competitors
  • Attend on-line briefing meetings with producers on intellectual content and unique selling points of conferences
  • Identify the target market for solution provider sponsorship opportunities
  • Market research and lead sourcing of potential sales prospects
  • Developing a continuous pipeline of sales leads
  • Pitching and tailoring sponsorship opportunities to clients over the telephone and face-to-face (predominantly phone based)
  • Working towards monthly sales performance targets
  • Developing long term business relationships with clients to ensure repeat business
  • Onsite management of sponsors attending conferences
  • Keeping your work up to date in the corporate CRM system
