Delegate Sales Executive

Delegate Sales Executives are responsible for selling delegate passes on Wisdom conferences to senior-level executives of public and private sector companies. As a Delegate Sales Executive, you will need to have the ability to research the relevant and qualified professionals for each conference, call them and sell them a pass to each event using the specific Wisdom sales process. You are also required to consider and accommodate your client’s needs and interests while possessing the skill to close business time after time. A top candidate for this position will have the aptitude to make adjustments and constantly learn and apply new sales strategies exemplifying versatility and improving ability.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Attend briefing meetings with producers on intellectual content and unique selling points of conferences
  • Market research and lead sourcing of potential sales prospects
  • Developing a continuous pipeline of sales leads
  • Pitching and to clients over the telephone for inbound or outbound sales
  • Applying the Wisdom sales methodology in order to close business
  • Working towards monthly sales performance targets
  • Preparing sales contracts to send out to clients
  • Developing long term business relationships with clients to ensure repeat business
  • Onsite interactions with delegates attending conferences
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of Wisdom products, the industry, and our competitors
  • Keeping your work up to date in the corporate CRM system


  • Previous experience in telesales/cold calling
  • Previous experience in delegate sales
